Introduction

This chapter contains a compact introduction of the Infront Data Manager API - Request/Response.  

Infront Data Manager API - Request/Response handles a universe of market and master data, sustainability, ESG, reference data and news.
This data can flow into Web applications or pages, bank and consulting applications as well as brokerage systems. In a Request/Response
model, the client sends a request to the server, and the server responds with the requested data. This is the most common way to interact
with web services and is generally stateless. It's useful for one-off queries or transactions. 

Infront Data Manager API - Request/Response consists of several services that delivers entitled reference- and snapshot-data. Each service will give you
access to the according data for the specific asset class. You can request by using common listing service or by selecting a specific asset
class such as fund, equity, bond, option, future, index.

A huge set of indicators are supported - both common identifiers like ISIN, MIC codes but also asset-class specific indicators as EUSIPA.
With our detailed data model, it is possible to get most of the data linked to a listing in a 1:1 relation within only one request.
This is flexible and controlled via a fields attribute you can add to your request.
